Dressin' Up

These two are having lots of fun with my make-up!  They actually went outside to wave at passing cars while dressed like this.

What will the neighbors think???!!!

 Here's Harriet Smith.......

gone wild, with a tattoo twist!

Fun,Games, and Good Company

The weather has been great! Here we are enjoying some grilled meat from the BBQ. We are so happy to have Ted visiting this week.

The "twins" are having their lunch at a cute little table that I snagged for 50 bucks on sale, including two chairs. Surprise....it's blue!

Marc-Antoine,Nicolas, and Ted have found a few common interests, juggling is one if them.

 A card dual....pick yer poison!

These two can actually be serious sometimes.....

Hmm..maybe Helen will move out of my cage.

The BBQ Pit

We finally built the bbq pit.  Okay, maybe not "we", but I did cook lunch for everyone and I did all the nagging that brought it about!
Pierre and the boys had dug a nice hole a few years ago, it was ready for the sand and tiles to be laid.

Then it was just a matter of building up the different, extremely heavy, pieces and keeping it all level. My father-in-law is an expert with a leveler.

I wasn't real good about taking pictures of the whole process, but you get the idea.  They finished it in the afternoon.  It is so great, we have used it twice already.

Here's the work crew!  Thanks guys!

My in-laws had this in their yard for about 20 years then when they moved they gave it to us. We took it apart and stored it.  So here it is!!  Yay!

Ahhh... summer!

The girls are having lots of fun with the rabbits.  Helen has taught the little black and white one the art of being zen. The other one is resisting.

Helen has decided that the rabbits have a charmed life so she tried it out....

This guy wasn't having any of it, so he up and walked away.  He took Helen's place at the dinner table and slept in her bed.

We will try to straighten her out before we send her home.......

New Altar in Ecône

Lucy took a picture of the new altar the day of the ordinations. It is a replica of an altar in a basilica in Assisi. All the pillars are different.  It would be interesting to see if there is a meaning behind that or if it is just artistic expression.
